Released in September 2012, Black of Light is Ashenveil's five-song debut EP. Evolving from Trace of Emptiness, the band built upon the developing songwriting partnership between vocalist Christine Greenwood and keyboardist Boris Zaks. Guitarist Richard Fisher and drummer Yuri Liak (Operatika) completed the lineup, contributing their own musical ideas and instrumental arrangements to the final recordings.

The recording features guest bassist Mike LePond (Symphony X) and was recorded at Trax East Studios by the late Eric Kvortek, a respected recording engineer and longtime fixture of the New Jersey music scene, mixed by Jeremy Krull, whose production and engineering credits include Fear Factory, Coal Chamber, and Unearth, and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios, whose mastering credits include Nightwish and Stratovarius.

Recorded in March 2010, Venomous is Trace of Emptiness's three-song symphonic/power metal EP featuring vocalist Christine Greenwood. The band would later evolve into Ashenveil, with Greenwood and keyboardist Boris Zaks continuing into the band's next chapter. Recorded and mixed at Homefront Studios in New Jersey and mastered in New York City, the release includes the tracks Venomous, Angel Is Dead, and Thorns.

I Hate Weddings (2009) – Rock/Pop. Co-written by Christine Greenwood and Joe Birardi (Joe Ciid) in 2008. Mixed and mastered by Joe Birardi at East Coast Productions. Birardi was also a guitarist in The Surge, where he and Greenwood collaborated on additional songwriting. He passed away in October 2021 following a battle with lymphoma.

Pleasure (1995) – Electronic/Trip-Hop/Euro-Dance. Co-written by Christine Greenwood, Carlos Rodgers, and Tommy Spero in 1995. Released by Cutting Records in 1996 on the Buzzsaw label. Mixed at Cutting Records and mastered at The Hit Factory in New York City. This release features the extended version.

Let It Be (2007) – An original collaboration between composer Kevin Maze Patrick and vocalist/songwriter Christine Greenwood. The composition features Paul Carbonara and Leigh Foxx, members of Blondie's touring band at the time, and reflects a cinematic, atmospheric approach to songwriting.

A Beautiful Sorrow (2006) – An original collaboration between musician Saric and vocalist/songwriter Christine Greenwood, blending melodic songwriting with emotionally driven themes.

You Can't Have Me (1996) – An original song co-written by Christine Greenwood and Carlos Rodgers. One of several collaborations from that period, the recording is part of a collection of archival material currently being restored from the original cassette tapes.

Attention (1990) – Dance/Pop. Co-written by Christine Greenwood and Bob Steele. Produced at a studio in Floral Park, New York. The song later attracted interest within the dance music scene and was eventually re-recorded by another artist.
